As your baby transitions to solid food, it is important to let them explore different tastes, smells, and textures. We’ve been committed to find healthy (and delicious) alternatives to some of our favorite foods for our baby. Nice cream has been one of those favorites for not only our child, but us parents!
Nice cream is basically the very health alternative to a ice cream and sometimes has the consistency of a smoothie. Packed with fruit, it is a delicious baby food for your transitioning little one.
If you’re thinking about making your baby’s food, try one of these five baby food purees!
Berry Vanilla Nice Cream
- 1/3 cup Strawberries sliced
- 3 Bananas frozen
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Place frozen bananas, strawberries and blueberries in a blender and add 1/2 tsp vanilla.
Blend until you reach desired consistency. We sometimes add a little water in the blender to get a smoother result.
Enjoy immediately, or pour into air-tight container and let it freeze a little more in the freezer. Then scoop and enjoy!
